Sir Stuart & Rosamund rocks the Reform Club

May 2013

It was without doubt the wedding that the Third Sector had been waiting for…the union of two of its luminaries Stuart and Rosamund.

As befitting the voluntary tradition, the meeting of the traditional and the progressive was observed with a tranquil and meditative Quaker ceremony (no photography allowed) followed by more rambunctious celebrations in Sir Stuart’s club, the historical and sumptuous Reform. Reflecting the true charitable style and the bigheartedness of the hosts Sir Stuart and Rosamund, the club was transformed into a welcoming space and a dancehall for guests and their children, who were free to run and roam amongst its marble pillars and to enjoy the grandeur of the rooms that Churchill, Palmerston and others such as Cartier Bresson had made themselves at home in.
